A car that crashed into a house on Trimmer Road in Ogden and then sped off was pretty easy to find.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says the car left both license plates and its exhaust system at 498 Trimmer Road after running a stop sign, hitting two parked cars, crossing the front yard and then hitting the house. People in the house were surprised, but not hurt when the car crashed at about 3:00 a.m.
The driver backed up and got back onto the road....then drove off into the night.
Ogden Police also responded and spotted two men running up Ogden-Parma Town Line Road. One turned out to be the driver whose Monte Carlo hit the house. They found it in his driveway, complete with front-end damage.
Eighteen-year-old Connor Northrup was brought back to the scene and charged with drunken driving.
