Rochester N.Y-  Honoring the memory of Philip Seymour Hoffman here in Rochester and in New York City Wednesday night.

There, crowds gathered for a candlelight vigil at the Labyrinth Theater where Hoffman was a company member and served as the former artistic director.

Broadway dimmed their lights to honor Hoffman as did The Geva Theater here in Rochester.

At The Little Theater in Rochester, a moment of silence to reflect and honor Hoffman’s life. The Little will hold another moment of silence for Hoffman on Friday before each movie.

They are also planning a tribute to Hoffman at the end of the month.
