Meeting Tonight On "Ban The Box" At City Hall

Posted Tuesday, May 13th 2014 @ 6am

Rochester N.Y.- A Rochester city councilman is proposing legislation to stop employers from asking on job applications if an applicant has a felony record.

City Councilman Adam McFadden says all he hopes to do is give ex-felons a foot in the door -- so they aren't excluded from a job interview solely because of a box on a job application.

McFadden is hosting a forum on his legislation Tuesday evening at 6:30 at City Hall.
