13WHAM Reporting: The union representing Principals and administrators in the Rochester City School District says its members decided to proceed with a “no confidence” vote against Superintendent Bolgen Vargas.

A “no confidence” vote is a vote which states that a person in a superior position is no longer deemed fit to hold that position.

It’s the first time in their 34 year history they’ve held such a vote.

They say it’s because of poor strategic planning and communication from district leaders.

While admitting the district needs to improve, Vargas says the union is focused on creating friction among adults rather than solutions for the children.
