Rochester N.Y.- The Rochester School Board will meet Tuesday evening to discuss the district's proposed budget as well as a proposal by the organization School Turnaround to take over the administration at East High School -- one of the five options given the district by the state to boost performance at the school.

The Albany-based organization is a subsidiary of the Rensselaerville Institute and was the only educational partnership organization to make a bid. The district has not released the details of the offer.

The district has until May 15 to decide a future course of action for the school. The other options include making it a charter school. replacing it or giving control to SUNY.
