Buffalo N.Y.-  The Toronto Sun is reporting that the Bon Jovi/Toronto bid group has been advised it is indeed a finalist in the Buffalo Bills sale.

The group is scheduled to meet with representatives of the Wilson family on Tuesday in Manhattan.

The group made up of Jon Bon Jovi, Maple Leafs chairman Larry Tanenbaum and the Rogers family last Tuesday resubmitted its first-round, non-binding bid for the club.

That after Morgan Stanley, the investment bank handling the sale for Wilson's trust rejected the groups initial non-binding bid -- First, because the bid was reported to have been uncompetitively low and Secondly, because too much doubt existed whether they really intended to keep the team in Western New York.
