Canandaigua N.Y.- The sheriff of Ontario County says it will probably take another two-or-three weeks to wrap up the investigation into the death of race car driver Kevin Ward Jr.

Sheriff Phil Povero says he can't talk about it except to say investigators are still talking to witnesses and reconstructing the accident.

He says when they finish their investigation, they will meet with members of the Ontario County District Attorney's office to discuss their findings.

Ward was killed when he walked out on the track during a race to challenge NASCAR driver Tony Stewart after Stewart caused him to crash -- but Stewart's car struck him.
