Katy Perry is taking to the streets with news about her upcoming album, literally. An oversized gold-plated truck was spotted driving around the streets of Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, and on its side was a huge message from the star, reading "Katy Perry, Prism, 10-22-13."
Twitter users started posting the photos of truck around town, and Katy took to the site to let them know she was really the one behind it. She told fans that she'd re-tweet their photos of what she called the "PRISM semi." She added, "Don't worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map."
Find the #PRISM semi, take a picture and I'll RT you. Don't worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map.— Katy Perry (@katyperry) July 30, 2013
Prism could be the name of the follow-up to Katy's mega-successful Teenage Dream album, which spawned hits like "Firework," "ET," "The One That Got Away" and "California Gurls."
