Watch Taylor Swift Perform 3 'Lover' Songs During Shanghai Mini Concert

Taylor Swift showed her Shanghai fans a lot of love this weekend.

The Grammy-winning musician performed three songs from her seventh studio album, Lover, during her headlining show at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in China during Sunday’s (November 10) Alibaba’s 11.11 Countdown Gala. Swift’s televised event signaled the countdown to Singles’ Day, the e-commerce company’s biggest annual shopping spree, which kicked off November 11.

The 29-year-old launched her set with a colorfully choreographed performance of “ME!” before delivering her ball “Lover” at a floral-laden piano, and closed out the show with a sassy rendition of her LGBTQ anthem “You Need to Calm Down” — which includes the lyrics "shade never made anybody less gay" — which was poignant considering LGBTQ people are still unable to marry or adopt in China. With Lover, the "Delicate" star scored her sixth number-one record of her career when it topped the Billboard 200 chart in September. Although she's yet to reveal plans for a tour, Swift has since taken the LP to Paris, on Tiny Desk Concert, Saturday Night Live, and has been slated to play some of her latest hits at the 2019 American Music Awards, where she'll be presented with the Artist of the Decade honor.

What's more, Swift has been billed to perform at the 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One, kicking off on December 1 in Tampa, Florida, and continues across the US throughout December including Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami.
