Anitta has enlisted Cardi B and Myke Towers for her new song and music video.
Friday (September 18) saw the release of âMe Gusta,â the latest bilingual bop to come from the Brazilian pop star. Influenced by Latin urban and pop vibes, the song is carried by a nasty funk rhythm with even naughtier verses, as Anitta and the Bronx-born rapper brag about what sexual tendencies drive them wild. The song, featuring Spanish and English lyrics, also sees the Dominican superstar flexing her bilingual flow.
âHe like to eat the cake like it's my b-day,â Cardi raps. âTo' lo dĂa' es mi cumpleañoâ/ Boy, I like it rough, don't take it easy/ Gangsta, yeah, I like it in the bando.â
Anitta also accompanied the songâs release by unveiling the Daniel Russell-directed visual, which features the songbird busting dance moves in various colorful outfits. Cardi and Towers also appear in the visual, with Bardi baring skin in an eye-catching purple ensemble as the Puerto Rican rapper grooves as Anitta rips a local runway strip.
âMe Gustaâ is the 27-year-old singerâs newest song to come following her ArcĂĄngel- and De La Ghetto-assisted jam "TĂłcame" and her collaboration, âRave de Favela,â featuring MC Lan, Major Lazer and Beam.
As for Cardi and Towers, this is the formerâs second collaboration of the year after releasing her record-breaking âWAPâ with Megan Thee Stallion, which ascended to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The âDiosaâ trap musician has put out a variety of tracks this year, including âLa Curiosidad,â âCaramelo,â and the remix to âLa Jeepeta.â
