Hillary Clinton Shares Inspiration Behind New Podcast "You And Me Both"

Hillary Clinton's new podcast covers a range of topics from the election and politics to trendy sweatsuits. The former First Lady, Secretary of State, senator and presidential candidate Zoomed with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Wednesday, October 14, and shared the inspiration behind the 24-episode podcast titled “You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton.”

The former First Lady admitted that in a change of positions, she actually loves asking the questions.

“I’m really curious about what other people are thinking or doing and what their challenges are,” Clinton shared with Seacrest. “
I didn’t really make up my mind [about doing the podcast] until the pandemic struck. I thought, ‘Wow, everybody is at home. People are looking for things that are going to be entertaining or informative and so am I. Therefore, I think this is the time.’ So, we started recording episodes in my attic — nothing like a fancy studio. We’re up there with the rain sometimes you can hear in the background hitting the roof and it’s been great.”

Hillary’s recorded episodes with a slew of guests ranging from Sarah Cooper to Patton Oswalt and more.

“I’ve talked to all kinds of people,” she shared. “I’ve talked to John Legend and Stacey Abrams about voting and I’ve talked to Tan France about cleaning up my act and wearing nicer sweatpants so I really talk about all kinds of things that I’m curious about.”
