This Website Will Pay You $2K To Sleep For Research

Getting paid to sleep? Sounds like a literal dream job—you know, because you'll be sleeping and therefore probably dreaming, too. If getting paid to sleep really does sound like your actual dream job, well, you're in luck.

Sleepstandards.com is looking for the perfect candidate to help them research how environmental factors influence the quality of sleep. The chosen candidate will receive $2K for their participation, as well as a short stay in a five-star resort.

"Sleep is essential for good health and quality of life. However, not everyone gets enough good night’s rest regularly. A number of factors determine a person’s quality of sleep and the environment could be one of them," the job posting reads.

"We are looking for one lucky candidate who will help us learn more about the influence of environmental factors on the quality of sleep," the posting continues. "The chosen candidate will spend five nights sleeping in different environments set up by our team including one night in a luxury 5-star resort."

If selected to participate in the research, you will be required to write an "honest report" about your sleep experience each night. In addition to the report, you will also be asked to rate the environment on a scale from 1 to 10—10 being the best.

In order to be considered as the sleep study candidate, you must submit a headshot and a 60-second video explaining why you should be chosen. Providing links to all of your social media pages is also required.
