Millie Bobby Brown Reveals Exact Moment She Knew Jake Bongiovi Was The One

Millie Bobby Brown knew that her husband, Jake Bongiovi, was the one when they started talking about the bigger picture.

The Stranger Things star appeared on the March 12 episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper and zoomed in on her relationship with the model, revealing when she realized he was the one for her.

"We had dogs together and we were taking care of our animals and we started living this day-to-day life. I thought, 'Oh, I really don’t think I could ever see you like as anything else. Like, I really want, I don’t wanna be with anyone else ever again. I don’t wanna date, I don’t wanna meet anyone like I want you.'"

The 21-year-old was pleased with their growing connection and pondered forever when they discussed their political views and future family goals. 

"When we started talking about politics and how we wanna raise our kids and like we start talking about really, really bigger things that I’d never spoke, obviously never spoken about. I’m already very young, so I’ve never spoken about that with like boys anyway. But to be able to even think about those things, I was like 'S***. Okay, maybe I do wanna be with you forever.'"

The Damsel actress knew she wanted to marry Bongiovi but was unsure of his desire to wed until the day he proposed. The pair got engaged in 2023 when Brown was 19 and her partner 21, around the same age that both of their parents got engaged.

"His parents got married really young, they’re high school sweethearts. My parents got married really young. They got married when they were like, well they met when they were 19. So they’re just like their love stories. We had just like really young marriages. We had really great role models growing up. So we didn’t see any different."

Earlier this week, the star told iHeartRadio's Smartless podcast hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett that she was ready to start a family and wanted to have kids soon, whether through adoption or natural birth.
