Taylor Swift credits the Eras Tour for helping her through relationship troubles.

The "Fate of Ophelia" singer made rare comments about the breakups she endured while on the road during the Eras Tour in episode four of her six-part Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era released Friday (December 19), per E! News.

"There were points in this tour where the tour was really the only thing keeping me going in my life," she said. "But there were never points in the tour where I though, 'Oh I want to quit the tour because the tour is hard.' No, my personal life was hard."

When Swift first kicked off the record-breaking tour in March 2023, she will still dating her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn; however, news broke the following month that they had split after six years of dating. A couple of months later, she sparked up a brief romance with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy before they also went their separate ways.

"I went through two breakups in the first half of this tour and that's a lot of breakups, actually," she said. "This show gave me purpose and what I could use to get me out of bed. The tour has never been the hard thing in my life. The tour has been the thing that allowed me to find purpose outside of the s--- that was going on in my life."

She added, "Men will let you down, and the Eras Tour never will."

Swift eventually found love again with her now-fiancĂ© Travis Kelce. The pair met in the summer of 2023 — with some encouragement from her mother Andrea Swift — and quickly grew close, with their relationship making headlines from the first moment she was seen attending one of his football games with the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August after two years of dating.
