The Golden State Warriors surprised a long time Dubs fan with courtside seats after his daughter's post recently went viral. Amy Luong shared with her followers how her Dad always takes walks around Chase Center, and how happy it makes him, although he's never been inside for a game.
"Every day since last year, my dad has sent us photos of him walking around Chase Center everyday, smiling and just happy to be there, even if he wasn’t inside. After over a year of my dad sending us photos of him outside, we finally surprised him and my mom with tickets to a game during Thanksgiving ❤️
As immigrants my parents never treated themselves, they always saved and spent whatever funds they had on us. My parents grew up dirt cheap, weren’t fortunate enough to get the luxury of enjoying experiences like this, and even after escaping Vietnam during the war and settling in the US, never treated themselves."
Amy's post then revealed how her and her mother were able to surprise him with his first pair of Golden State Warriors tickets for Thanksgiving. After the post made it's rounds around the internet, the Golden State Warriors decided to surprise Amy's dad themselves with courtside tickets! Check out his reaction below:
