Watch 'The Simpsons' Predict Lady Gaga's Super Bowl Performance In 2012

FOX's long-running series The Simpsons has a fascinating track record of predicting the future, from Donald Trump's presidency in 2010, to the winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in economics, and now, Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime performance.

In the 2012 episode "Lisa Goes Gaga," the Joanne artist comes to Springfield for a show where she flies through the air on suspensions in a wild outfit, just as she did for her grandiose performance at Houston's NRG Stadium this past Sunday. The episode also featured a constellation of stars that formed a cowboy hat, which resembled the drone-filled sky during Gaga's real-life performance of Woodie Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land."
