Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan may have put their teenage issues behind them, but there are still some secrets fans are dying to hear about the height of their feud. Fortunately, Duff is sharing some long-awaited insight into the behind-the-scenes tiff with her former "nemesis."

During an appearance on the February 25 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Duff, 38, shared some insight into the beef between herself and the Mean Girls actress, 39, when they were younger. The drama between the stars hit its peak in the early 2000s due to their respective relationships with the late Aaron Carter, who seemingly dated them at the same time, per People.

When host Alex Cooper asked if she "intentionally" crashed the premiere of Lohan's film Freaky Friday in 2003, Duff confirmed that was likely the case, saying, "I think absolutely yes. I was a teenager." However, Duff also offered a reasonable explanation for her to be at the premiere in the first place, even if she potentially had ulterior motives to show up.

"Chad Michael Murray invited me," she said, referring to her A Cinderella Story costar, who also starred in Freaky Friday. "I don't wanna start any more stuff, but he was like, 'You should come with me.' And I was like, 'Mhmm. Probably I should.'"

Lohan returned the favor later that year when she showed up to Duff's Cheaper by the Dozen premiere, which the "Mature" singer said she wasn't "surprised" by.

"I mean, that was, like, my childhood nemesis," she joked. "I'm sure my publicist will be like, what the f--- are you doing? But now it's so many years later. Like, who cares? It does not matter."

Duff then revealed how they eventually put their beef behind them years ago.

"Lindsay came up to be at a club once and was like, 'Are we good?' And I was like, 'We're good,'" she recalled. "She was like, 'Let's take a shot.' I'm like, 'Okay.' It was amazing."

Elsewhere in the interview, the Lizzie McGuire alum also made rare comments about her divorce from first husband Mike Comrie, with whom she shares 13-year-old son Luca, and explained why she was "taken aback" by the "toxic" mom group drama raised by fellow Disney alum Ashley Tisdale.
