The iconic reality TV show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County is set for a two-hour reunion special on The Roku Channel next year, featuring the original cast, including Lauren "LC" Conrad, Stephen Colletti and Kristin Cavallari. The event, currently titled Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion, will debut in 2026, marking 20 years since the original series concluded.

The reunion will bring back other familiar faces like Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Shuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, and Alex Hooser. According to Deadline, the special will offer fans a nostalgic trip down memory lane with untold behind-the-scenes stories and cast reactions to episodes of the original series, which debuted on MTV in 2004 and gave viewers an inside look at the life of teenagers in the California community.

"Laguna Beach wasn’t just a television series; it defined a generation of pop culture and paved the way for the reality genre as we know it," said Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Roku Originals.

The series creator, Liz Gateley, expressed excitement about reuniting the cast, noting the show's significance to fans and its lasting impact on reality television. Gateley will serve as an executive producer alongside Conrad, Colletti and Cavallari.

"When I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of friends," Gateley said. "The show not only changed my life and the casts's lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who've been waiting for this."

Conrad confirmed the news in a post on her Instagram on Wednesday (September 24), sharing several throwback photos of her friend group going to prom, per People.

"Let's go back to the beginning..." she captioned the post, referring to the show's theme song "Come Clean" by Hilary Duff. "Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026."

The reunion special will be available for free streaming on Roku devices and online platforms.
