Amanda Bynes Shares 'Inspiring' Weight Loss Update

Amanda Bynes is feeling happy with her recent weight loss.

The Easy A actress, 39, shared an rare update on her Instagram Stories on Monday (December 22) to proudly reveal how much weight she has lost while taking on Ozempic, a GLP-1 medication often used for weight loss, per Page Six. Bynes shared a paparazzi photo of herself walking in Los Angeles wearing a white Lady Gaga T-shirt and baggy ripped jeans, telling followers that she has lost nearly 30 pounds since starting Ozempic.

"I usually don't like paparazzi pictures bc I was 180lbs, but now I've lost 28lbs on ozempic! I'm down to 152lbs," the She's The Man star wrote over the pic. "I know I still look big but this photo is really inspiring to me!"

According to People, Bynes shared an Instagram video in June explaining that she was "so excited" to start the medication and shed 40 pounds and would even "post about my Ozempic journey of course."

In November 2024, Bynes gave fans another look into her weight loss journey as she documented her progress and stats on a step-counter app. She previously revealed she had gained weight during a period of depression but that she was "doing a lot better now" and "learned to do the opposite action when I don't feel like working out or eating clean."
