Oh to be a fly on the wall! Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa joined Ryan Seacrest on-air on Tuesday, November 24, on the heels of their âPrisonerâ collaboration release. The songstresses took a trip down memory lane and recalled when they first met at the 2019 Met Gala.
âWe took a nap on Katy Perryâs hamburger,â Miley hilariously recalled to Seacrest. âShe was dressed as this big hamburger and everybody was partying and having a good time and me and Dua went and rested our heads on Katy Perryâs hamburger.â
Perry, as fans well remember, dressed as a chandelier for the 2019 Met Gala red carpet and later changed into a Jeremy Scott-designed hamburger for the annual fundraising costume gala.
Fast-forward to 2020 and Dua and Miley have since teamed up together on track âPrisonerâ off Mileyâs forthcoming album Plastic Hearts.
âThis is not the first song weâve actually cut together,â Miley shared. âWe cut a couple songs really wanting to get something right, something that really just individually represented us entirely and I think we did that.â
Watch back the full interview in the video above for more, including to hear what else we can expect from Miley and Dua who are next set to team up again during Duaâs Studio 2054 livestream and more.
Miley's album Plastic Hearts drops Friday, November 27.
